How can I pay for an order?

You choose at checkout. There are two ways:

• Pay now, online. Card or mobile money, handled by Paystack. The seller is paid directly.
• Pay the seller in person, in cash or mobile money, when you collect the order or when they deliver it.

Not every shop can take online payment. If a shop has not set up their payout account, or has switched online payment off, paying in person is the only option and the checkout page will say so.

If you pay online, your items are held for at least 30 minutes while you finish paying. After that the order is cancelled automatically — usually within the hour — and the items go back on sale, so nobody is left holding stock for an order that is not coming.

If you never start the payment, nothing is charged. If a payment lands after the order was already cancelled, we cannot bring the order back because the items may have been sold to someone else — so the money is refunded to you automatically instead.
